WELCOME

The Bell Frog Inn is nestled alongside the Boro River, originating from the Southern Angolan mountains, coursing through the Caprivi strip, winding its way through the Heart of the Okavango Delta, before gracefully passing by our unique Bar & Restaurant.

Maun has over 55,000 inhabitants and still carries the feeling of an old frontier town. It’s an exciting off road 40-minute drive to The Bell Frog Inn, or a pleasant 35-minute jaunt up the river in one of our Swamp Crusiers. On your way to visit us you will see cattle, goats and donkeys. If you are lucky you will see elephants, hippos, crocodiles when the river flows, as well as an abundance of birds that simply boggles the mind. The Bellfrog Inn enjoys 300 metres of beautiful waterfront during flood season.

For those seeking respite from the African heat, our establishment boasts an inviting overflow pool, ensuring both relaxation and entertainment for families while indulging in our renowned artisanal pizza and legendary chicken jalapeño pocket (a must-try – just ask our bartender!).

Our tented accommodations offer a serene riverside experience, each equipped with its own ablution facilities. Positioned to optimise views of the river (subject to flood conditions), our tents provide utmost comfort, complemented by electricity access for charging cameras, phones, and laptops. Wake up to a complimentary breakfast, and if adventure calls, let us prepare a delicious, packed lunch for your upstream boat excursion or game drive arranged through one of our trusted partners.

For those seeking a truly immersive experience, we are delighted to arrange Mokoro trips. After enjoying a light breakfast, simply grab a wide-brimmed hat and a lip-smacking packed lunch, and we’ll arrange for pickup directly from your accommodation. Immerse yourself in the tranquillity of the Okavango Delta as you glide along its waterways, experiencing its rich biodiversity up close.
